Estethica, sponsored by Monsoon, continues to make impressive strides forward in promoting ethical fashion to the media and retailers, both in London and abroad. With London Fashion Week still in full swing, the excitement isn't about to end, with both new and more established labels introducing ever more eye catching and innovative collections. Today SustainyourStyle.com curates their top seven outfits from this season's exhibition to give you a diverse feel for what's to arrive in Autumn/Winter 2010.

In sharp contrast to her light and fine Spring Summer collection, Henrietta Ludgate has explored her darker side for the coming fall season. From her Scottish studio, Ludgate introduced her 'Enchanted Highlands' collection and captures her region's dense dark forests in her signature minimalist cuts and prints. As demonstrated in her silhouettes (an example pictured left), Ludgate has retained her sculptural flair, a design stance adored by fashion forward consumers, but printed with warmer hues. This artistic designer's palette draws on dusty camel, midnight blue, smoky grey and moonlight black, with the occasional shock of burning pink. We favour her signature sculptural look, as pictured left and below, but equally found ourselves appreciating the new shapes introduced to the collection - think drapes, layering, textile prints. As ever though, Henrietta Ludgate uses exceptional British craftsmanship and luxurious fabrics such as English woven cashmere with mink, Scottish wools and superfine Yorkshire wool jersey, all produced locally with fabrics sourced from Scottish mills.

Henrietta draws on folklore and fairy tales, and aptly so, as we think Henrietta Ludgate will shortly enjoy her own fairy tale. Having won the 'Fashion Innovation Award' from the Ethical Fashion Forum for her current collection, we bet this super talented designer is bound to clock up a lot more successes in the next few seasons. Amidst the darker hues in Henrietta Ludgate's AW collection, we love the sporadic introduction of shocking pink!Also up and coming is By Stamo and its designer, Elisabeth Stamo. Relatively new on the scene, By Stamo's 'Combat Dandy' AW10 collection is promising... What we were particularly drawn to was its contrast between its signature feminine shapes with a new strong dose of masculinity. With this in mind, our favourite piece was its fun introduction of bow tie epaulettes to its feline top, insanely feminine with its sheer sides. Provocative, alpha females watch out! By Stamo, handmade locally in London using vintage, recycled fabrics as well as its signature silk and wool fabrics sourced from Laurent Garigue, is bound to delight... SustainyourStyle.com has been watching upcycled designer label Goodone for quite a while now, and is definitely one to watch for the sheer ability to create a design collection using an upcycled approach. And with the sportswear look tipped as a strong trend this year, Goodone should do well. But it isn't for Goodone's luxe-sports feel that this highly wearable upcycled label gets into our top 7 this season. We're loving Goodone's introduction of new British knit to the mix, particularly its placement around the hip curve. A designer long been known for creative upcycling is Minna Hepburn with her Minna design label. But this season has witnessed two exciting departures from its norm: Firstly, Minna's colourful collection has instead opted for a mono palette of noir, and we're liking this dramatic contrast to her usual Spring burst of colour. Another key difference is Minna's fabrics. Traditionally, Minna has always demonstrated its pure flair for upcycled materials, but now is branching out, blending recycled black lace and leather with a sound, high quality organic cotton. Never one to turn its back on upcycling is Junky Styling - this well established label, much loved by individualists around the world, never seems to fail to come up with yet more delicious designs, all created from cast off men suits. The first difference we noticed was Junky Styling's lookbook. It was monochrome. Annegret, one of Junky's co-founders and designers, said the inspiration came from an old black and white print she looked at. As simple as that, their upcoming collection was expertly photographed with the artistic zealousness their fan base has grown to love, and portrays their imaginative collection in style. While it was hard to chose, we couldn't resist their trousers and as their Ninja Trousers are just as seductive as their Split pair, we decided both should share the same spot in our top seven. Junky Styling Sleeveless UD Jacket with Ninja Trousers.Ever since Lu Flux sent her collection down Vauxhall Fashion Scout's runway two seasons ago, we've been admiring her cute Britishness and fun take on upcycling. You may be sensing our favouritism for upcycling, and indeed many a time it's true as limited fabrics often initiate the most creative approach by the very limited nature of its fabric source. Limitation never holds back Lu Flux. Crafty yet modern in her design approach, Lu has injected a lot of fun into her 'Dame and Knight' collection by introducing a modern sculptural look to add more romance to the 'one off'. This sculptural look combined with muted coppers, plums and pink knits delighted us, but we were particularly taken with her Boutis quilted dress - fun, playful and highly wearable. As is often the case with Fall Winter collections, colours take a turn to the darker side, but not so with Danish design label, Maxjenny. We fell head over heels with the colourful outburst experienced in this young designer label's AW10 'Streetsculpture' collection. Maxjenny Forslund, the creative force behind this label, offers a variety of styles to transcend trends, uses a variety of 'intelligent' sustainable fabrics and its pieces are often multi-functional. Our favourite piece, as pictured below, was their all-weather jacket made from water-based painted recycled PET bottle fabric. While it may be waterproof, breathable and iron-free, it also gives the wearer a highly unique and colourful alternative to the usual rain coat, aka the Trench, that many of us like to wear.
