Oria Jewellery

Visit Oria Jewellery - ORIA is dedicated to producing contemporary, fine jewellery using ethically sourced gold, silver and gems. It is as elegant and desirable as it is socially and environmentally responsible.

High Fashion Jewellery

ORIA launched in 2007 by jeweller Tania Kowalski and goldsmith Synnove Saelthun, having had a combined 25 years experience in the jewellery industry. We design and make our jewellery in our London studio and find inspiration in the magic of nature. Our collections vary from the delicate and feminine to the bold and striking.

We offer a wide range of jewellery in silver and 18ct gold from wedding and engagement rings, necklaces, earrings and cufflinks.

Ethically Adorned

We have created a range of beautiful collections with something to suit everyone.

In our feminine ‘Lily’ engagement rings, gems are held in delicate petals, whilst for something more striking and adventurous the ‘Lotus’ ring provides a stunning option. The ‘Lotus’ flower is used as inspiration, it symbolizes beauty and purity. Stacked with the enchanting ‘Bud’ ring, the ‘Lotus’ also makes an exquisite dress ring. The ‘Pebble’ and ‘Tulip’ rings with their curvaceous and flowing lines provide a sumptuous and elegant alternative.

All our ethical engagement rings are designed to match wedding and eternity rings. Worn together they make a stunning ensemble. Rings can be set with a range of dazzling gems, from aqua marines, pink and blue sapphires, rubies to diamonds.  We also offer a bespoke service and are happy to guide you through the process of designing your own special ring.

In our classic gold ‘Nina’ collection, a phoenix subtly wraps around gems and rings. In Chinese mythology the phoenix, a magical bird, represents honesty and justice. The gold ‘Bibbi’ collection with its delicate leaves and pods takes it’s inspiration from the natural beauty of the Norwegian woods.

Wolves, birds and lions feature in our ethical silver collections based on endangered species. From the playful owl to the edgy lion, the collections have something to suit everyone. 10% of our profits will go to the IUCN Red List who works to conserve and protect these species.

ETHICAL SOURCING

Workers are paid a fair price and have safe working conditions. Materials are mined with the minimum environmental impact (cyanide & mercury are not used in the extraction of gold and silver).

ORIA are the proud winners of the Bon Genie & Nice Futures Ethical Jewellery Award, Ethical Fashion Days, Geneva, Switzerland, October 2008.

Ingle & Rhode

Visit Ingle & Rhode - The finest ethical jewellery in the UK. Based in Mayfair London, Ingle & Rhode offer luxury ethical jewellery, produced in a socially and environmentally responsible way and offer engagement rings, wedding rings, eternity rings, and designer jewellery, with a focus on bespoke jewellery.

Ethical Sourcing

We are 100% transparent in the sourcing of our materials and the making of our ethical jewellery. We guarantee that we use only conflict-free diamonds and fair trade gold, which is produced without the use of mercury or cyanide.  Applying fair trade principles to all the diamonds, gemstones, gold and platinum in our jewellery, we work only with suppliers who pay fair wages, maintain good health and safety standards, and who do not use child labour.

Bespoke Service

We specialise in bespoke engagement rings and wedding bands. The process begins with a consultation at our studio in central London. The meeting allows the client to talk through their ideas and explore the design possibilities. If the client then decides to commission a piece of bespoke jewellery from us, our designers will begin by drawing sketches of the concept. We then bring the idea to life using computer-aided design, creating detailed 3D images. We take on board the client’s feedback and, once they are completely happy with the design, we cast it in the metal of their choice. Each piece of custom-made jewellery is then hand finished by skilled craftsmen. The flexibility of our bespoke jewellery service means that we can work to almost any budget.

Exceptional Quality

Every piece of our jewellery is created with exceptional care and attention to detail. We work with award-winning designers, use only the highest quality materials, and will go to any lengths to ensure each client's satisfaction. Every piece is  independently assessed by the London Assay Office before being hallmarked. Specialist polishers, setters and mounters then finish each unique piece by hand.

“Combining unlimited bespoke possibilities with all the right ethical motivations, Ingle & Rhode is one of London’s number one jewellery destinations." Vogue, April 2008

Luxury as it should be

Fifi Bijoux believes in ‘Luxury as it should be; without the blood, sweat and tears’. In 2006, Fifi Bijoux thrust issues of exploitation and environmental destruction by gold mining into the public arena.

“The fair trade model provides an opportunity to empower mining communities. They are mineral rich and yet most remain in abject poverty”.

Fifi Bijoux works in partnership between businesses, NGO’s and mining communities. Jewellery is made using gold, silver and diamonds from fair trading small scale mining co-operatives. No child labour or forced labour, cyanide or mercury is used.

Awards and Press

Fifi Bijoux has featured regularly in Cosmopolitan, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, Elle, Grazia, in style pages and features within The Observer, The Sunday Times, The International Herald Tribune and The Independent... to name but a few!

Launching the 1st collection at London Fashion Week in 2007, Fifi Bijoux has attracted international acclaim. The new SS10 collection made its Paris debut at Paris Fashion Week in October 2009.

Celebrities including Colin Firth, Annie Lennox and shoe-designer-to-the-stars Jimmy Choo are just a few of the supporters of our projects and fans of Fifi Bijoux Jewellery.

Director and designer Vivien Johnston is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Visit CRED - CRED are the fair trade jewellers with a passion for beauty fashioned from fair trade and environmentally responsible materials. It is simply the purest jewellery in the world.

Our environmental legacy

Buying jewellery is the most personal purchase one ever makes. What jewellery you wear speaks to the world of what is intimately valuable to you. It is a timeless purchase that should reflect the values you aspire to: Personal expression, freedom of choice, social and environmental well-being and exquisite beauty. CRED Jewellery is the original fair trade jeweller who understands these values as we have been pioneering ethical and environmentally responsible jewellery since 1996. For us the inherent beauty and value of jewellery rests not only in its exquisite design but also in the social and environmental footprint it leaves. This we believe is what beauty is all about and we have found that our customers share these important values.

Fair trade and responsible sourcing

In order to achieve this aspiration, we have developed a unique global network of artisanal miners who provide us with an amazing array of precious metals and gemstones. From the mountains of Bolivia, lush jungles of Colombia, the Brazilian wilds and savannas of Tanzania, our partners work diligently and responsibly to assist us in the creation of your jewellery. This rich diversity of sourcing partners is captured in our fair trade programme that ensures the highest standards are delivered to the purest jewellery in the world. All the fair trade gold and platinum we use is cyanide and mercury free, our silver 100% recycled and conflict free diamonds and traceable coloured gemstones all come with our CRED quality assurance certificate.

Our speciality is YOU

Our range of fair trade and ethical wedding rings are the purest in the world. Our ethical engagement rings are perfect symbols of love and commitment and are created to order with Oro Verde gold and platinum with a range of diamond sizes and semi precious stones on request in any size and shape you desire. Bespoke jewellery is worn to beautify, but we see no beauty in exploitation. We often meet up with customers of our design service, although most of our international customers will deal with us remotely.
